  • Academic and Schedule: school timings and working days.
  • Fees & Discounts: monthly due day, late fee, sibling discount.
  • Finance: accounting mappings, accrual, staff ward discount, fee rounding, transaction approval, cross-campus collection.
  • Timetable and Attendance: timetable defaults, late rule, who marks attendance.
  • Exams & Grading: who enters marks, automatic steps, checking workflow, grading schemes, starter packs.
  • Houses and Age Groups (expected age range per class, used by the data checks).
  • Student Form (required, hidden and custom fields) and Admission Numbers.
  • Leave: the sandwich rule.

Press Save at the top of the page after changing anything. Some sections, such as grading schemes, save immediately and say so.

How do I start a new academic year?

Settings → Academic Calendar → Add Academic Year (e.g. "2026-2027"), then Set as Current. Exams, annual results and reports are grouped by academic year. On the same page, add School Holidays & Breaks (e.g. Summer Vacation). Then promote the students (see Promoting Students).

How do I change what the admission letter, ID card, fee challan and roll slips look like?

Settings → Documents has a tab for each:

  • Admission Letter: letterhead colour, registration number, stamp area, required documents, terms and footer.
  • Student ID Card: title, colours, validity, fields shown, barcode and back-side text.
  • Fee Challan: bank name, account title and number, branch code, number of copies (1–3), barcode, signature area and footer notes.
  • Exam Slips: the principal's signature image and a note printed on every roll number slip.

Can I see who changed what?

Yes. Settings → Audit Logs records every create, update, delete, login, export and bulk update, with who did it, when and from which device. Filter by action, record type (student, fee, user, etc.) and date, and open an entry to see exactly what changed.
