Terms of Service
The agreement between Zindawar Technologies and a school that uses Skoolyte: plans, billing, your data, leaving, and what each side is responsible for.
In effect from 16 October 2026
1. Who this agreement is between
Skoolyte is school management software provided by Zindawar Technologies ("we", "us"). These terms are an agreement between us and the school that signs up ("you", "the school").
The person who signs up, or accepts these terms inside Skoolyte, confirms that they are allowed to accept them for the school.
If your school has an order form with us for the Paid plan, the order form is part of this agreement. Where the two differ on price or billing, the order form applies.
2. Your accounts
- You decide who at your school gets an account and what each person can do (their role and campuses).
- Keep passwords private. We recommend two-step sign-in for every admin and anyone who handles money.
- You are responsible for what is done with your school’s accounts. Tell us straight away if you think someone has signed in who shouldn’t have.
3. Plans
- Free plan: for schools with up to 300 active students, with the everyday features listed on our Plans page. It has no end date. It does not include support from our team, AI tools, more than one campus, accounts, payroll or API keys.
- Paid plan: every feature and no student limit, charged per active student per month at the rate agreed with your school in its order form.
- Trial: a new school gets the Paid plan free for a trial period shown when it signs up. When the trial ends, the school moves to the Free plan unless a price has been agreed.
- We may add or change features. If we take a feature away from a plan you are on, we will tell you at least 30 days before.
4. Billing and payment
- On the 1st of each month we make a bill for the students active in your Skoolyte that day, at your agreed rate (and any agreed monthly minimum).
- Bills are paid by bank transfer by the due date on the bill. You can pay in parts; please quote the bill number.
- If a bill is still unpaid two months after its month began, paid features pause until it is paid. Your records are never deleted for late payment, and the Free-plan features keep working.
- If a tax applies to a bill by law, it will be shown on the bill.
- We will give at least 30 days’ notice, and a new order form, before changing your rate.
5. Stopping, refunds and ending the service
- You can stop the Paid plan at any time by telling us. Billing stops from the next month, and you can keep using the Free plan.
- Bills already made for past or current months must be paid. We do not refund months already billed.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms in a serious way, puts other schools or our systems at risk, or must be closed by law. Where we can, we will warn you first and give you time to put it right.
6. Your school’s data
Everything your school puts into Skoolyte (students, parents, staff, fees, marks, attendance and the rest) belongs to your school.
You allow us to store and use it only to run Skoolyte for you: to show it to your users, back it up, keep it secure, help you when you ask for support, and where the law requires. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or show it to other schools.
You are responsible for having the right to put that information into Skoolyte, for keeping it accurate, and for telling parents and staff how the school uses their information.
Our Privacy Policy explains who helps us run Skoolyte and how we look after this data.
7. When a school leaves
- You can export student lists, fee records and reports to Excel or PDF at any time, and you can ask us for a full copy of your school’s data.
- After your account is closed, your data is kept for 90 days so you can still get a copy. After that we delete it from our live systems, and it drops out of our backups on their normal schedule.
- We keep bills, payments and the record of what you accepted for as long as we need them for our accounts and the law.
8. Fair use
When using Skoolyte you agree not to:
- break the law, or store content you have no right to store;
- try to get into another school’s data, or test, probe or attack our systems;
- send messages to parents or staff that they have not agreed to receive, or that are abusive or misleading;
- copy, resell or rent Skoolyte to others without our written agreement;
- use Skoolyte in a way that overloads it for other schools.
9. AI features
- AI features (for example My Assistant and the AI coach) can be wrong. Check what they say before you rely on it.
- Anything that changes money or records is only saved when a person presses Confirm.
- To answer, the question and the school data it needs are sent to an AI provider listed in our Privacy Policy.
10. Running the service
- We work to keep Skoolyte available and back up the database every day, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. We do planned work outside school hours where we can.
- Work entered while offline is kept on that device until it reaches Skoolyte. Keep devices secure, and connect them regularly so their work is saved.
- Paid schools get support from our team by chat. Anyone can email us.
11. Responsibility and limits
- Skoolyte is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses such as lost profit or lost business.
- As far as the law allows, our total responsibility for any claims in a 12-month period is limited to what your school paid us in that period.
- Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that the law does not allow to be limited.
12. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will publish the new version here with a new date and ask your school’s admins to accept it the next time they sign in. Small corrections may be made without notice.
13. Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of Pakistan.
