How do I set up classes?
Academics → Classes → Add Class. Give the class a name (e.g. "Class 5"), a section, the campus, the Grade Level and the Academic Level (Pre-Primary, Primary, Middle, High, Secondary, Matric, O-Level, A-Level, Intermediate). Capacity, room number and a Head Teacher are optional.
The Grade Level sets the promotion order: students move to the next grade up. Each class + section is its own row (e.g. Class 5 – A and Class 5 – B). The list can be grouped By Level, By Section or By Campus.
How do sections work?
Academics → Sections → Add Section. Name it (e.g. A, B, Blue, Girls-A), set a Gender Constraint (Boys Only, Girls Only, Co-Education) and a category if you like (e.g. Regular, Hifz). Leave the campus as All Campuses to use it everywhere, or pick one campus.
How do I add subjects and give them to classes?
- Academics → Subjects → Add Subject: name, code, group (General, Science, Arts, Humanities, Religious) and the academic levels it is taught at.
- Open a class (Classes → the class) and press Assign Subject. Pick the subject and the teacher. Only teachers who have that subject in their profile are offered. See Employees & Teachers.
Is there a quick way to set up subjects, chapters and a question bank?
Yes, with Starter packs: Settings → School Profile → Exams & Grading → Starter packs. A pack (e.g. KPK classes 1–8) adds each class's subjects, chapters, a question bank and a sample paper per subject. Press Review and import to see what will be added for each of your classes before anything changes. The questions are written for the pack, so check them before printing.
What does the class page show?
Student count, this month's attendance rate, pending fees, class information and the subjects with their teachers.
