How do I post an announcement?
Announcements → New Announcement. Write a title and the message, choose the Priority (low, normal, high, urgent) and the Target Audience (everyone, teachers, parents or students). Announcements show inside Skoolyte. They are not sent by SMS or WhatsApp. To message parents' phones, use fee reminders or the Message Parent button on a student's profile.
How do I add a holiday or event to the calendar?
Calendar → Add Event. Give a title, the event type (e.g. holiday, exam, meeting), the dates (or All Day Event), and optionally the times, location and a description. The calendar also shows staff leave and the academic year automatically.
How do teachers send homework through the Daily Diary?
Academics → Daily Diary → Create Entry. Choose the date, class and subject, then fill in Homework, an Announcement and/or Notes for parents. Entries are listed by date and can be filtered by class.
