How to make school fee vouchers (challans) for the whole school

In Skoolyte you generate the month’s fees for every class in one go, then download every unpaid voucher as one PDF, with brothers and sisters merged on one voucher and old arrears folded in. Each voucher can carry up to three copies with your bank details and a barcode, and only fees that are still unpaid are printed.

Vouchers for the whole school or one class

  • Generate the month’s fees for every class at once; students who already have that month are skipped, so nothing is charged twice
  • Pick the month, class and fee type, then download the vouchers as one PDF or print them straight away
  • A family’s children are merged on one voucher, so the parent pays once
  • Arrears from earlier months are folded into the voucher total
  • Families and individual students come out as separate files, ready to hand out

One voucher at the counter

  • Load a student on Collect Fee and press Print Voucher for the outstanding balance
  • Every fee row also has its own Print challan
  • Annual package schools get “Installment 2 of 6” printed on the voucher

After the voucher

  • Take the payment at the counter and the receipt prints or goes to the parent on WhatsApp
  • Send reminders with the parent’s full fee statement link to everyone who has not paid
  • Set the bank name, account number, branch code, number of copies (1–3), barcode, signature area and footer notes once in Settings

Common questions

Can siblings be on one voucher?
Yes. Put brothers and sisters in a family once, and their fees are merged on one voucher. One payment at the counter then pays for all of them, oldest fees first.
Does the voucher include old arrears?
Yes. Unpaid fees from earlier months are folded into the voucher total, so the parent sees everything they owe.
Is it free?
Fee vouchers are part of the free plan for schools with up to 300 students.
